This weekend, TAC hosts the Tar Heel Swimming Association (TSA) Championships, July 22-23. 1700 swimmers from 50 area summer pools will compete for summer league bragging rights. Teams from all across the Greater Raleigh area compete in TSA, making the league one of the largest swim associations in the U.S.
The meet runs in four sessions – two each day, Saturday and Sunday. Morning sessions begin with warm-ups at 7:30am and the meet getting underway at 8:30am. The afternoon sessions warm-up at 1pm and begin competition at 2pm. The center is open to the public if you wish to come and watch.
TAC will still have recreational and academy/lesson swimming. All rec and program swimmers MUST check in at the front desk. Deck access will be restricted unless you have a pass. There is absolutely NO PARKING on-site for anyone other than TAC Staff – please park at the mall.
