Derek Wall, Vice President of Operations 919.459.4045 ext. 224 | dwall@triangleaquatics.org
The Triangle Aquatic Center is very pleased to announce that Derek Wall has agreed to dive in with us as our Vice President of Operations. Derek’s strong aquatic background and experience is well-suited to his new role in managing the 72,000 square foot aquatic facility housing three pools. Born and raised in Raleigh, Derek has spent the past 12 years involved in aquatics. Water has always been a staple in Derek’s life. Swimming, lifeguarding, lifeguard training, and most recently managing over 40 pools in Raleigh certainly provides him with the special skills needed to manage Triangle Aquatic Center's Cary facility – the largest public aquatic facility in NC.
Derek graduated from Campbell University with a Major in Business Administration and a Minor in Marketing. He comes to Triangle Aquatics from Carolina Pool Management, where he rose quickly through the ranks to a position of Regional Director. During his tenure at CPM, Derek gained extensive knowledge and experience with pool operations, county and state regulations, and the ability to recruit, hire and train exceptional lifeguards. His passion for excellence is obvious as one former lifeguard was heard to remark “Working with Derek is always a lot of fun - as long as things are running perfectly!” Such passion makes Derek an outstanding addition to the TAC staff and it’s commitment to become a national leader amongst aquatic facilities. |

Rebecca Williams, Aquatics Manager 919.459.4045 ext. 223 | rwilliams@triangleaquatics.org
Rebecca Williams has been with TAC for almost two years as a swim instructor and founder of the Triangle's newest synchronized swimming recreational program, the Angelfish. A former collegiate and nationally-ranked synchronized swimmer, Rebecca also founded the Triangle's very first competitive synchronized swim team, the Raleigh Auroras. Swimming is Rebecca's passion, and she has the drive to spread that passion and interest to everyone in our community, and the marketing background to execute her plans. She is extremely proud to work at TAC and is delighted to bring that enthusiasm to work with her every day to the pool.
Being a "people person", Rebecca is at her best when interacting with others. She has great rapport with ALL the guests, adults and children alike, as well as with all TAC instructors, front desk personnel and lifeguards. Aquatics is her favorite, but Rebecca is a fan of all sports – and any football team from Louisiana comes a close second to aquatics. If you want to know anything at all about the LSU Tigers or the New Orleans Saints, just ask Rebecca. She was born in Houma, LA and is proud of her Cajun heritage. You “geaux girl”! |
