This weekend, our state’s top senior swimmers will descend upon the Triangle Aquatic Center to compete in this year’s North Carolina Swimming Short-Course Senior Championships. Over 750 swimmers from more than 50 year-round teams will be participating in this four-day meet.
Thursday, February 15th will begin the event with a timed finals session. Warm-ups start at 3:30pm with the meet getting underway at 5pm. Friday through Sunday feature prelims and finals. Prelims warm-up each day at 7am and the meet starts at 9am. Finals warm-up at 4:30pm with the meet getting underway at 6pm on Friday and Saturday. Sunday finals warm-up at 4pm with the meet starting at 5:30pm.
The meet is open to the public and admission is free. Parking at TAC is restricted to coaches and officials with a parking pass only. The general public, meet swimmers, and TAC patrons must park at the Cary Towne Center.
