Hey TAC! My name is Carol and I’ve been an AFAA group certified fitness instructor for 8 years, with specialty certifications in Pilates, Yoga-lates (a Pilates-Yoga fusion certification), Aqua Fitness, Specialized Mat Work, Senior Fitness, and Body Shred Bootcamp. I am also a Silver Sneakers instructor. I relocated here from the Washington, DC area 2 1/2 years ago and am passionate about fitness and love being an instructor! I have been an instructor at TAC for almost two years. I like teaching both land and aqua classes and love that I have the opportunity to teach a wide variety of class types and work with the senior population as well.
Amy Rockwell
As an outdoor, adventure activity coordinator/fitness instructor and personal trainer, Amy has spent most of her career working in traditional fitness. She was a fitness instructor at SAS for over 20 years! Amy attended a variety of fitness classes for many years, but it wasn’t until she discovered Yoga that she found her true fitness/wellness calling and became more serious about her personal practice and decided to become certified. Amy wants everyone to leave her class feeling invigorated and balanced, with a healthy mind and body.
Janet Wise-Thomas

Hey TAC! I’m Janet and I have been teaching fitness for over six years. I am certified for Aquatic Fitness through Interactive Fitness of America( (IFTA) and the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA) to conduct group fitness, and as a Zumba instructor. I have been with TAC since October 2017 after I relocated to Cary, NC from New York City. I offer variety in my classes, and believe it’s important to change exercise programs to work different muscle groups. My motto is… “you need to change your workout to change your body”. I have a special calling for those who need to move to their next level of rehabilitation for knee and other joint disorders.
