Positions

Certifications: Aqua Fitness Instructor, Aqua Aerobics Instructor, Dryland Fitness, Silver Sneakers or any equivalent specialty/ certification preferred.

Job Duties: Lead safe, engaging, and effective aqua and dry land fitness classes for participants of varying ages and fitness levels, with many classes geared toward seniors. Instructors demonstrate proper exercise techniques, provide modifications as needed, prepare class materials and equipment, and create a positive, welcoming environment while monitoring participant safety

Schedule: Must be able to teach at least twice per week, Monday through Friday,  preferably mornings and/or early afternoon.

Job Duties: As the first point of contact for visitors, this position helps create a positive and welcoming experience at the Triangle Aquatic Center. Responsibilities include greeting patrons, managing building entry, answering phone and front desk inquiries, supporting program registration, and responding appropriately in emergencies.

Ideal candidates communicate clearly, have strong computer skills, are effective problem-solvers, remain calm under pressure, and take pride in delivering exceptional service to our customers and community.

Schedule: Varied shifts; including weekends, evenings, and holidays. Up to 30 hr/wk.

Job Duties: Assist with TAC events by serving as a Timing Operator and supporting swim meet set-up and break-down. Timing Operators work the timing console during events, with full training provided. No previous experience is required, and this role is well suited for college or high school students.

Hiring Range: $12.50-$15.00/hr

Certifications: American Red Cross Certified Lifeguard

Job Duties: Help ensure the safety of pool patrons by preventing accidents, enforcing pool rules, and responding quickly to emergencies. Staff must maintain required certifications, be able to perform all required certification skills, assist with routine pool area maintenance to keep the facility clean and safe, and communicate effectively with patrons and TAC staff.

Schedule: Varied – early morning, mid-day, afternoon to 10PM. Includes holidays and weekends, up to 30 hr/wk.

Job Duties: Teach American Red Cross Lifeguarding, recertification, and CPR courses while managing classes independently. Responsibilities include delivering ARC curriculum, testing participants to certification standards, holding students accountable to course requirements, and completing required certification paperwork.

Candidates should have at least one year of experience teaching American Red Cross Lifeguarding, recertification, and CPR courses.

Schedule: Varies, depending on seasonal course schedules.

Hiring Range: $17.50 – $25.00/hr, based on experience.

The TITANS Swim Academy is seeking energetic and passionate swim instructors to help develop the next generation of swimmers. As a TITANS Instructor, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality swim instruction, fostering a positive learning environment, and ensuring a world-class experience for our swimmers and their families.

Skill Set: Knowledge of learn-to-swim programming; a competitive swimming background is a plus. Passion for working with children of all ages and abilities is important. Highly punctual, dependable, and results driven. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Available to work a set schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Job Duties: Teach swim lessons for beginners to experienced youth. Work alongside our team of swim instructors to provide swimmers with a top-notch competitive swim program and instruction. The opportunity to provide private swim lessons to swimmers is available and coordinated by the Swim Academy Manager.

Certifications: Red Cross First Aid / AED / CPR certification or willingness to obtain (training available)

Shifts Available: Weekday Evenings and Weekends. Must be able to commit to a set schedule.

Hiring Range: $16-20/hour based on experience
