Kevin has deep roots in the Triangle. Born in Washington, D.C., he moved to Cary with his family as a child and has lived in the area ever since. After graduating from Apex High School, UNC–Chapel Hill, and the UNC School of Law, Kevin joined Parker Poe Attorneys & Counselors at Law in Raleigh, where he has practiced law for many years. His work has focused on product liability matters, industrial accidents, and commercial motor vehicle litigation. He also served in firm leadership, including a term as Raleigh Office Managing Partner, and helped lead the design and construction of the firm’s Raleigh office at PNC Plaza.
Kevin has been actively involved with the Triangle Aquatic Center community, previously serving on TAC’s Aquatics Advisory Board and supporting the program as a parent of two former TAC TITANS swimmers. Kevin is a USA Swimming official, regularly volunteering at meets as a deck referee, starter, and stroke and turn judge. Around the holidays, he quietly serves as TAC’s unofficial “Christmas elf,” coordinating a few helpers to hang colored lights and bring cheer to the pool deck!
