Board of Directors

John has deep roots in Cary, having lived in the community as a kid and graduating from Cary High School. A graduate of North Carolina State University, he began his career teaching high school biology and spent more than 20 years working with the YMCA before joining the Town of Cary, where he currently serves as Director of Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Resources.

Outside of work, John and his wife are raising two children and share their home with two dogs and two cats. John and family are active in numerous outdoor activities and love to travel.
