Scholarship Offerings
The Triangle Aquatic Center, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, is dedicated to developing swimmers for lifelong success. In support of our mission, TAC offers three scholarships that help make swimming dreams a reality.

TITANS Opportunity Scholarship
The Opportunity Scholarship provides assistance to talented swimmers (in the Development, Challenge or Elite Tracks) whose families face financial hardship. Families who qualify for this scholarship have swimmers with the potential to excel in the sport. They may miss that chance if the cost of swimming is not reduced by generous donations. Applications will be accepted between June 8 and July 17, 2026.
Recipients receive the following:
- 50% credit for registration fees paid
- Monthly credit towards group membership dues
- Waived Family Endowment contribution

TITANS Performance Scholarship
The Performance Scholarship helps offset high travel costs and other expenses for talented swimmers who have a chance to excel on the National stage. Active TITANS swimmers who achieve time cuts for USA Swimming Junior or Senior National Championships will be awarded this scholarship, no application is required.
Recipients receive:
- Jr. National Cuts: monthly credit representing 30% of group membership dues
- National Cuts: monthly credit representing 60% of group membership dues
- Apparel package

Make a Splash Scholarship
The Make a Splash Scholarship is provided in partnership with the USA Swimming Foundation. This scholarship is dedicated to ensuring that all children have access to essential swim lessons and water safety education, aiming to reduce drowning incidents and promote a lifelong love of swimming. Recipients receive low-cost learn-to-swim lessons.
