New COVID Procedures as TAC Prepares for High School Swim Season

The Triangle Aquatic Center, in staying ahead of the curve in regards to our COVID protocol, has released a new statement and made procedural changes on the TAC property effective immediately. These changes have been implemented prior to the start of the High School swimming season as we prepare for a whole new group of patrons coming to TAC.

Mask requirements have been been tightened in regards to patrons, coaches and staff on the Pool Deck and the Fitness Center. Masks are now REQUIRED at all times in these areas. Swimmers must wear a mask up to the point they are entering the water and must put their mask back on immediately upon exiting the water. Athletes in the Fitness Center must have a mask with them at all times and be wearing it whenever not engaged in strenuous exercise.

Traffic patterns for Swimmer Drop off and Pick Up have changed beginning Monday, November 23rd. Swimmer Drop Off will continue at the same location – down the hill around the bend and up to the top of the hill. DROP OFF CAN ONLY OCCUR INN THE LANE CLOSEST TO THE BUILDING. NO DROP OFF IN THE THROUGH TRAFFIC LANES.

Swimmer Pick Up has been moved to in front of the new Atrium addition of Spectator Stadium. The lane closest to the building will be used for pick up and the other lane is for through traffic. NO PICK UP CAN OCCUR IN THE THROUGH TRAFFIC LANE. These procedures are in place to ensure the safety of everyone walking through the parking lot area. We ask that everyone takes extra caution during this busy season while diving through the TAC property.
