Tar Heel States Returns to TAC This Weekend

The Triangle Aquatic Center and the TAC TITANS put a close to the short-course swim season this weekend with the 2019 CAT-TAC Tar Heel States meet.  This year’s event, co-hosted by the Carolina Aquatic Team, will bring more than 1100 swimmers to TAC to compete in this 7-session event.  Friday evening features a Time Finals sessions, warming up at 4pm and the meet getting underway at 5pm.  Saturday and Sunday will feature morning Prelims and evening Finals for the 13&O swimmers.  Prelims warms up at 7am and gets underway at 8:30.  Finals warms up at 4:45 and gets underway at 6pm.  The 12&U swimmers will participate in afternoon Time Finals.  Saturday has a 12pm warmup and a 1pm start while Sunday’s session is 12:30pm and 1:30pm.

Meet Participants / Spectators / TAC Rec and program Swimmers – Parking at TAC is reserved for coaches and officials only.  You must have a parking pass to park on-site.  Please park at Cary Towne Center.  Rec and Program swimmers – all adults must check-in at the front desk to obtain a wrist band to get to the pool deck.  No one is permitted on Competition or Program Pool dekcs except swimmer, coaches, and meet personnel.

Admission for the meet is free and open to the public.  Come and check out some of the finest area swimmers close out the short-course year!
